We are seeking an experienced and certified AMI teacher (Children’s House) to join our team at our family-owned school. Our school has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and we are proud of our great team that shares a passion for working with young children.
As an Montessori teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for the children. You will have the opportunity to implement the Montessori method and philosophy in the classroom, plan and execute developmentally appropriate activities and lessons, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues. We are looking for a candidate who has strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Qualifications:
- AMI Diploma for 3-6 year old children
- Fluency in English. No need to speak French.
- Prior experience in a Montessori environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with young children
This is a full-time position (or 90% may be considered) with a start date of August 1st (or August 7th by the latest).
Our school is family-owned and has been providing quality education for over 20 years. We have two classes of 3-6 year olds and one class of 6-12 year olds, with a total of around 60 children. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a French-speaking colleague and be a part of a great team that feels like family.
