Job offer : Anglophone Early Childhood Educator (EDE) for Montessori Seeds of Knowledge School

Montessori Seeds of Knowledge School, established in 2011, is seeking an anglophone Early Childhood Educator (EDE) to join the Children’s Community team starting in August 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee children aged 18 to 36 months in a Montessori environment.
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Observe and track the individual development of children.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to plan learning activities tailored to each child.
• Encourage independence, problem-solving, and self-confidence in children.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification recognized in the Canton of Vaud (EDE equivalent).
• Prior experience as an Early Childhood Educator, preferably in a Montessori environment.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Passion for early childhood education.
• Montessori diploma for ages 0-6 is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other educators.
• Commitment to Montessori principles and a deep understanding of Montessori pedagogy.
